Home Additions & Renovations

Jay’s experience as both a general building contractor and believe it not a high school principal (retired), has taught him the value of clear communication, mutual respect and hard work.

From the initial design process to construction completion, we consider ourselves humble guests in your home, and as such respect your personal privacy and space.

Nothing gives me and my team of subcontractors more pleasure than providing our clients with exactly what they want and need in a home. The pride we take in a job well done is overshadowed only by the satisfaction we feel when our clients are completely satisfied with the finished product.

As a General Contractor since 1983, I have completed many projects servicing a variety of client needs. Everything from a new entertainment center to a new kitchen to an entire new home. My team of experienced sub-contractors and I can get the job done with quality results, at a fair price.

My experience as both a general building contractor and – unbelievably – a high school principal (retired), has taught me the value of clear communication, mutual respect, and hard work.

I began giving design advice (some of it appreciated and some not) at the age of 5. When it came time to choose a career my direction was predetermined. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Fresno State. I chose this specific BA program because Fresno State’s Interior Design curriculum was housed in the Industrial Technology Department.

Attending Fresno State and graduating not only invigorated my passion for design but also provided me the experience and knowledge of the trades I rely on to bring my designs to life. I have worked in a variety of trades including hanging drywall, framing, installing tile and a little electrical. Although I appreciate being able to make a living doing something I love, my primary motivation is to create homes from houses and to make the world a little more beautiful.
